I stand by my idea with arrogant stride.
To showing off my abilities, I'll never hide.
I'm truly brilliant, you are a mere weakling.
I have something you are already seeking.

Dream says, "Do you want to play?"
I say, "What shall we play?"
Dream says, "A fun game,"
And she touches my head, and I sleep.
Mother asks why I am off today.
I say, "I had a bad dream."
Mother says, "Oh, I'm sorry."
Dream comes again lonely and sad.
Dream says, "Do you want to play?"
I say, "It wasn't a very fun game."
Dream says, "It will surely be fun this time."
And she touches my head, and I sleep.
Father asks why my eyes are red.
I say, "I had a bad dream."
Father says, "Oh, I'm sorry."
Dream comes around after the day is done.
Dream says, "Do you want to play?"
I say, "I did not like our other game."
Dream says, "It will surely be fun

I'm The Monster
I reach out, into the darkness
my claws drip with blood
I'm numb to all of this
to my killing,
to my love of blood
I feel nothing
I look in the mirror
and all I see is a monster
bloodshot eyes,
a hide simply pulled over these bones
i'm the monster
and i'm the only one who sees this

I'll miss everything about you
I will not lie, I was hurt
yet here forever I am, for you to turn to
I had felt lower than dirt.
I'll miss your unique scent
there is still an open wound
here I am giving my own lament
but I do hope your life is profound.
I'll miss you saying "I'm not tired"
you carried my heart so far
you are what I always desired
I know you'll shine brighter than any star.
Yes, I'll miss everything about you
but the time for me is now
I will become something great too
it will not matter how.
I'll miss being the one you were seeing
but you will miss something of me
something of me that was never so freeing
it is this heart
